The scheme has come into effect from April 1 for the year 2011-12 in the state. The State Government can extend the period if need be. Orders have been issued in this respect.

BHUBANESWAR: A power purchase agreement (PPA) was signed between Gridco and NTPC on Tuesday for procuring 10 mega watt solar power. The national thermal power major is in the process of executing two solar power stations at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad in Haryana.
