KOCHI: In an effort to ensure a proper hygienic atmosphere in West Kochi, the Irrigation Department has come out with a Rs 2.5- crore project to beautify the historic and decades-old boundary canal, a historic mark dividing the erstwhile Malabar and Kochi, stretching from Thoppumpady to Fort Kochi.
