Land suffering from the effects of illegal mining restored: Forest Officer, Shimla to NGT
Divisional Forest Officer (Rural), district Shimla, Himachal Pradesh in its report to the National Green Tribunal (NGT), September 15, 2022 said that the land of Gurdayal Singh, village Kothi, tehsil Sunni, district Shimla suffering from the effects of unscientific mining and quarrying has been restored.
The miner, Ramesh Verma had deposited Rs 5 lakhs for carrying out restoration work of the land of Gurdyal Singh.
