Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Hemant Kumar Rajoria Vs Union of India & Others dated 29/04/2019 regarding non-forest activities at the reserve forest of Bandh Ki Gadi, Amagarh, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The petitioner has submitted that even after the interim order of 31/05/2018 which had prohibited any interference in the reserved forest without prior approval from MoEF, activities including leveling of the ground after removing vegetation, fencing and construction of wall, where there is a forest area fall on both the sides, use of road rollers are still going on. While the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has categorically submitted that no proposal whatsoever has been sent to the Ministry seeking Forest Clearance.

Taking cognizance of the fact, the NGT directs the Principal Secretary-Department of Forest, State of Rajasthan, Secretary-Jaipur Development Authority and the Executive Engineer (Garden Van)-Jaipur Development Authority to appear before the Tribunal on the next date of hearing.
