Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding area described as “Gair Mumkin Pahaar” in Aravali Hills in Faridabad, Haryana, 21/02/2019
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Lt. Col. (Retd.) Sarvadaman Singh Oberoi Vs State of Haryana & Others dated 21/02/2019 regarding the area described as “Gair Mumkin Pahaar” in Aravali Hills in Faridabad District falls in the National Conservation Zone to which the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 is applicable.
The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has given a report suggesting that the State Government should identify the area and the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) has to take a final decision. The Ministry will assist the State Government in the manner required. NGT lists the matter for 28.02.2019 and directs for hearing from MoEF&CC and the State of Haryana and any other relevant party.
