Dhaka hosts SAARC ministerial meet on climate change in Apr
Dhaka hosts SAARC minis-terial-level meeting on climate change end April, an official source here said on Wednes-day. The source said the issue was very much important for Bangladesh which was among the vulnerable countries to be affected by adverse impact of climate changes. Bangladesh drew attention of the world community particularly after deadly cyclone Sidr battered the country's southern belt on November 15 last year. The source said the next SAARC summit scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka on August 2-3 will also focus on the issue.
