Urban slums in Delhi
The present report on “Urban Slums in Delhi” is brought out by the Directorate of Economics & Statistics on the basis of sample survey conducted under the 69th NSS Round (July 2012- Dec 2012) in respect of state sample. This report contains information relating to 2012 on ownership, area type, structure, living facilities like electricity, drinking water, latrine, sewerage, drainage, garbage disposal, and distance of slums from the nearest primary school and government hospital/health centre. It also provides information on the change in condition of the slums during the five years preceding the date of survey.
