Crisis Management Plan refers to the actionable programme, which is pressed into action in the event of a crisis situation to minimise damages to life, property and environment. The Plan outlined in this document does not replace the emergency procedures or contingency action plans already drawn by different agencies, but has been developed to address crisis that have the potential for a much greater impact on the Nation. Despite the fact that care has been taken to include all aspects of crisis management in the document, it cannot be negated that still there may be occasions when an entirely new and unforeseen crisis situation could arise during the same type of crisis.
