Tezpur AASU protests health sector anomalies
The Tezpur anchalik unit of AASU staged a strong protest on Tuesday against serious anomalies in appointment in the health sector by burning effigy of Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and raising black flags against the process in front of the join director's office. The protestors seized appointment letters from five youths hailing from Kamrup district. In a press release issued by the president of Tezpur anchalik AASU, Jan Bora stated that some temporarily appointed malaria home workers and DDT spray workers have been demanding to regularise their posts and moved the court.
