Punjab Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has said that Pakistan and China are working on development of a new rice seed variety having more per acre yield and resistance against diseases. 'Production achieved from this new rice seed would be exported to Iran and in return Pakistan would get oil which would be provided to the masses on subsidised rates,' he said.
